| Dear Sirs:
An agent from your office acted on our behalf when we purchased
and sold the subject property this past winter. Although this letter
is all overdue, I want to inform you of the outstanding service
and effort that was provided by John Fishbein during both transactions,
but particularly through the difficult circumstances involved with
the sale of the property.
Having known John for a few years before considering a purchase,
I saw how he treated his clients coupled with his love and knowledge
of the K-W area. Therefore, it was natural to ask him to represent
us for the purchase of our first home. At that time the market was
still strong and entry level homes were more difficult to find.
John remained patient as he showed us numerous properties in different
locations in the area explaining the pros and cons of each property
and location. We were able to find a suitable townhouse which had
several interested parties. So John moved quickly recommending an
acceptable offer which secured a contract.
When it came time for us to move from K-W we were able to easily
have John represent us as the listing agent. With only a short time
until our expected departure, John was willing and able to have
several Open Houses and to talk to other agents etc. about our property.
I might add that since we bought when the market was strong and
were trying to sell in a weak market, we initially tried at first
to keep our price high in spite of several sales in the area for
substantially less. This approach made John's job of selling more
difficult and yet he persisted with the attitude that "the
client is always right". As we packed our belongings and winter
approached, John kept digging (literally in the snow at times) and
working on our behalf after we left Canada. The remainder of our
dealings were done by phone and fax, and, although we lost a lot
of our investment, we were able to obtain the best price we felt
probable with double offers submitted. John worked diligently during
those months as we often communicated over offers and counter offers
and he continued to remain optimistic when low offers were submitted.
At that time we were able to sell for more than any townhouse in
the neighbourhood.
With all of John's persistent work and diligence we were able to
move on knowing that someone was truly caring for our best interest.
Given the details involved with our sale, as outlined above, we
commend John's efforts and know that we would certainly recommend
him to our closest friends and colleagues (as we already have).
You may share these comments with John and his colleagues and may
use this letter or contact myself if a reference for his performance
is requested.

Yours truly,
Stephen W. Read, P. Eng.
